Although all meals are free for all students through Sept. 30, a-la-carte selections will carry a charge, and student's must have funds in their account for the purchase of a la carte items. Parents have on-line access to view student balances, histories, and make bankcard deposits.
Even though lunches are free through Sept. 30, families are STRONGALY encouraged to complete the free or reduced lunch applications, as other funding and grant eligibility for the district are tied to these applications. This application also applies to pay-to-participate for student-athletes for qualifying families and chromebooks to be able to take home for after-school enrichment opportunities.
A new application IS REQUIRED each school year. So even if you applied a year ago, a new application must be submitted for the 2025-26 school year. We encourage all applications to be filed by Oct. 6, 2025 for the 25-26 school year.
Please complete your new application as soon as possible. If you are new to Thornapple Kellogg Schools, you will need to fill out a new application in our district.
