About me :)

Hello! My name is Emma Johnson and I teach second grade at Lee Elementary. This is my second year being a part of TK Schools, and I have been so blessed to work on a team that is passionate about loving kids and helping them reach their full potential. I graduated from Cornerstone University in May of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in special education and a reading minor. I truly feel that I have the best job in the world. I'm passionate about building a growth mindset in each student I work with. When I'm not at school, I live with three other first-year teachers in Grand Rapids. I love spending my time running, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors. In the summers you can catch me teaching kids about incredible animals at the zoo.
